I'm creating a blog entry about my thoughts on blogging:
My first impression - waste of time, could really spend the time sending an email or putting an entry up on the elearning site
I could be wrong... (and I probably am) ...stay tuned for more thoughts or big thinks

may be we don't know enough about it yet, I'm hoping, even if I'm not going to use it in the short term, any new piece of knowledge might be handy in the future, at least I can answer a question from a student about What is Blogging!!
ReplyDeleteHi Megan, thanks for your thoughts.. yes, like any technology, the blog needs a good purpose before you'd use it in class.
ReplyDeleteThe blog is more likely to be used by teachers to build a network for their professional development.. but some teachers are using it in the classroom too now.

ReplyDeleteWhat is it about our generation, where we are doubt the benefits of blogging? My initial thoughts run parallel to yours OMDIP? Got to remember not to use your real name.
ReplyDeleteIs blogging just just another way on-line addicts communicate? We already spend more time tapping on a keyboard that we really want to or have the time for!!
